Updated: May 3, 2019

Eastern Cape MEC for Economic Development, Environmental Affairs and Tourism, Mr Oscar Mabuyane, was among a large contingent of high-profile visitors to the Buffalo City Tourism stand at Africa's Travel Indaba in Durban on 2 May 2019.

Buffalo City Tourism is in Durban this week where we are proudly showcasing our city and the wider region to thousands of buyers and media outlets at the 2019 Africa's Travel Indaba. Tourism officials will be engaged in three days of presentations, seminars and one-on-one meetings as we lift the curtain on Africa's best kept tourism secret.

Africa's Travel Indaba is one of the largest tourism marketing events on the African calendar and one of the top three 'must visit' events of its kind on the global calendar.

It showcases the widest variety of Africa's best tourism products and attracts international buyers and media from across the world.

Indaba brings together a showcase of Southern African tourism products and services for the international travel trade and is visited by thousands of local, regional and international buyers and media representatives and industry stakeholders.

Exhibitor categories include accommodation, tour operators, game lodges, transport, online travel, luxury products, Hidden Gems, media publications and industry associations. Outdoor exhibitors include transport, camping and safari companies.
