Ann Bryant launches virtual exhibition

The Ann Bryant Art Gallery in East London is currently hosting a virtual exhibition and video tour featuring the work of various artists from Buffalo City.

Included in these works is the permanent collection of the gallery. Artists from the city's two art centres in Mdantsane and Gompo also submitted their work.

The purpose of the virtual exhibition is to give these artists a platform to showcase their work, within the confines of COVID-19 restrictions.

The effects of the national lockdown were especially negative for the arts and culture sector as this sector depends on physical interactions for any economic activity.

The exhibition runs until 28 October.
